Message sethdude beers 708 º places 17 º 14:16 Thu 12/26/2013 Don’t let the top-end of our individual folding PPD fool you- 8,000 PPD is good, and a very welcome addition to out team! Different Work Units (WU) are worth different points, and assignment is random. Also, your PPD estimate will go up within 24 hours, as it will include your bonus points for early completion. If you haven’t already, you should use the pass key feature. It’s a simple step that adds bonus points to each completed WU, and is useful for other purposes (security, multiple clients, etc). I have myself running on full now with my processor dialed back to 80% to keep temps in the safe range. My ppd number jumps all around the map so I will give it a little time and see where I am at.

The most important thing is that were adding machines so were getting more consistent scores. If we could get to 50 active CPUs we’d really be killing it.

I’ll be adding another one today or tommorow, depending on when I can get back to St. Louis and get the parts that I need together. Should be good for at least 20k PPD, hopefully more!
