Originally posted by EithCubes Often I think it’s people who actually like a place trying to help it out, and owners trying to get the word out to people who they think would like their place. Problem is that they are usually wrong, and the place is usually not nearly as great as either party thinks it is. And also that it’s a transparent waste of time. |
But maybe I give people too much credit. I suppose there could be pure evil at work. |
You should have at least 50 place ratings for your rating to count. For beer you should only need one rating. |
maybe we can set up a ’beer karma’ system for these types of issues |

I would like to take this opportunity to thank our regular admins for the good, sensible work they do. Let’s hope it never comes to replacement admins. |

Originally posted by Savvy1982 I do think it should take AT LEAST 10 beer ratings for them to count...we’ve seen a new brewery added in a day and scored 5 straight across for all 3 crappy offerings by the person who added them. |
