The homebrew club in San Diego, Quaff did a club only prison brew contest. The rules were it had to be stuff you could find in a prison and it had to be fermented somehow like you would in prison. I heard every single one was pretty bad and the judge scorecards for it were pretty funny to read after wards.
I read a recipe once for something made with ketchup packets, sugar and I don’t know what eles....but it sounds awful. You’ve REALLY got to want some alcohol to go to those lengths.....or maybe its just boredom.

Getting slightly moldy bread proved to be more difficult than I expected. I bought the cheapest white bread I could find and waited for it to go green. I swear to God it stayed good for a month.
