Pretty sure we (read: Me) forgot the reminder/bump last Sunday, and that proposals were due overnight.

Wait, last night?

Just got home from the CBC in Portland and I cannot imagine a better place to go.

The sheer number of amazing places is incredible. Beermongers, Apex, Belmont Station, Horse Brass, Bailey’s, HotD, Upright, The Commons, Saraveza, Hop & Vine, Cascade, Breakside, Hopworks, Lompac... probably a dozen more.

There are many world class establishments that are literally a stones throw from each other.

Cool regional breweries are available everywhere.. Boneyard, Barley Browns, Ale Apothecary, Crux, Walking Man, Double Mountain, Pfriem, Heater Allen, Etc.

Folks that want to try as many ciders as possible will only be limited by their budget.

And public transportation is super easy given a tiny bit of planning. Taxis seemed to be a little unreliable, but Uber should be back in town soon.

FWIW, I am not a PDX cheerleader or shill... In fact, I cannot come up with a reasonable scenario where I convince my wife to be cool with me going back for an extended stay so soon.

Anyway.. An outsiders perspective.

Cheers, Toby.
