Any interest in getting together and brewing a beer? We could come up with the recipe online and then brew it whenever at somebody’s house. You really wouldn’t even have to be a homebrewer to participate, if that’s any consolation. |
I’m down. I suggest we make a barrel aged dry hopped sour white stout. |
Sounds fun |

Twas thinking about a Brett C IPA or a Hopfenweisse with either one featuring NZ hops. |
You guys are the experts - all I know is how to let apple juice rot until it quits bubbling....oh, yea, I know how to use a bottle capper too. |
Originally posted by HornyDevil Just brewed that Brett c ipa today u sugeested to me with all Mosaic hops, and just picked 6 lbs of quinces to add to the secondary. Keeping my fingers crossed. |
Sounds like a blast! The BADHSWS sounds KILLER!! I have zero brewing skills, knowledge, or ingredients but I do know how to drink it!. |
Originally posted by Beerman6686 Nice. So maybe a hopfenweisse or a hoppy saison? Simple grainbill and a metric asston of hops? You guys want to do something after Thanksgiving but before Christmas? If that’s too soon, maybe sometime in January? And whoever comes gets a sixer or two of the finished beer. |
I would love some hopfenweisse. Anyone have some Nelson Sauvin hops? |
Originally posted by lithy I’m sure I can arrange for some. They’re only $3.30 an oz. on Northern Brewer. I think about 6 oz. should do well. |
