By the way, how is the weather this time of the year there ?
Anything is better than the 35-36 C that we have here though (especially for someone who prefers colder climates like me).
Should we bring a raincot/umbrella etc ?

BBC 5 day weather forecast is predicting rain showers all week.
Honestly, it’s grim up north.

Sounds a good plan considering we have a pub crawl to do afterwards!
Maybe you can recreate the spirit of the famous cellar runs at the Crown in Oakengates Dave, giving each beer that ’star billing’ treatment

Alrighty
Got the old interwebs up and going again. Iv got about 18 beers that i’ll be bringing for the tasting and some of them are the complete savage win. Jugs sound great for the tasting. I guess i’ll be on 50ml samples all day so that works out nicely for my pocket.
As for weather id imagine that a waterprrof light jacket will be key if you want to stay dry, but lets be honest after a few beers rain doesnt bother you, infact i expect some belly slapping in the rain will be a key event over the course of the trip.
Im going to hit 5k at this event, WIN!

Should arrive during the session at the Harlequin on Friday, so very happy to contribute.
Sadly won’t be at the Sunday tasting, but will bring you a few bottles from this part of the world that even Jan hasn’t rated.
