dont really have much info but if the Evil Empire thinks its a good idea, I can garentee there will be lots of Cask Rates.

has 2 bottles ive been looking for, and at least2 new cask in there regular list, never mind there guest list of cask

I recon between the 2 pubs i can pick up a decent 10-20 ratings.
plus ive never been to huddersfield so seems a good use of Thursday

star fest usually has around 70 beers, 35 in a tent (on a temporary bar, all cellar stored and served thru handpump), and the rest on a rotating basis on the main bar (about a dozen pumps). as a rough guide, as a local i normally require about 40. usually a couple of pictish specials, never a bad thing!

grove is hit and miss for new uk beers (though again that’s from a local perspective), but as craig says, this pub’s all about the foreign beer list. www.groveinn.co.uk

I meant only 2 new Cask rates from the Regular cask list.
there then 10 guests, of which id expect at least 2 more but probablly 4-6


Of bottle list it quite a large number of new rates but there quite a few, im not fussed over, But its Stunning.

We recently (well the last year) had a bottle Bar open in Edinburgh, and its bottle list is depressingly poor.

Yeah there probably about 30 new rates for me, But all Bland Lagers.
No Mikkeller, No De Molen, Only the easily available US beers. Im sure to teh Average punter there 300 bottles looks cool, but to a beer geek, its a terribly bland and uninspired selection.

Where as the Grove list is a delight.
