now then...
notice we’re still low on numbers. we seem to have a healthy international contingent, but comparatively few UK members. so what are you waiting for? are you scared that after a weekend in the beer capital you won’t be able to face going back to the south, with its expensive and usually poor beer selection?
still working on beer list for the Harlequin, hopefully got a brand new brewery lined up.
if I get time will be brewing something myself at a local brewery, expect hops!

Seeing as you all go right past it on the way on Saturday, would you not fancy swapping a late stop at the Kettle for an early one at the Crown? Much better place and guaranteed a Pictish on top form.

It would seem that I’m out for good, as 2% chance of my arrival and now I’m actually glad that I haven’t booked the ticket in advance.
The cretins put up my final exam on the 17th, some 10 days after the last possible exam.

May i be so bold as to point something out with ragards to the grand tasting. There’s going to be quite a few less of us than have been at previous summer gathering, so therefiore there going to be alot less beer. Unless we all bring a few more beers each(which seems like a good idea), or else we plan to have a good jolly in the(or a few) boozer(s) after the tasting.
Any thoughts on this one? Im more than happy to bring like 7 different beers rather then the usual 4ish, even if some of them are things that people have had before but are like top 50 beers that people are hot on.

I’m still hopeful of getting there but won’t know for certain until the last minute. I’m retiring at the end of August and I’ve got a shed-load of work to clear up before then.
