Team,
It seems like we’re getting close to nailing down the RBESG location and dates (Bratislava Vienna, late June/July). I haven’t seen much input from UK people in a little while in the relevant thread ( http://www.ratebeer.com/forums/rbesg-20-12_191608.htm) so I’m just highlighting it here as our Local Forum seems to get a fair bit of attention.
Cheers,
Leighton

I’m unlikely to make this one, but if the date suits, I may be able to attend at short notice. Good luck with the organisation in two very interesting and contrasting cities. It should be a fun event.

A ’wi-fi connected mobile’ - is that anything like a smartphone, or did you pick up some kind of archaic add-on for a flip phone?

I’ve been to both Bratislava and Vienna but this was probably 8 or 9 years ago I’m guessing. I thoroughly enjoyed both of these cities in fact I know that Bratislava has probably improved massively since then but I have to say, it was good fun back then, beer was very cheap, it was friendly, easy to get around and made for a very worthwhile stop for a few days.

I should have added that I won’t be going as I am off to a number of music festivals plus have holiday plans, Morris commitments etc. But I think that anyone who attends will have a great time.

Economical at the moment. I am rather withstricted with opportunities of travel until I am financed a bit more. Hoping things will change soon. Vienna I have wanted to visit for a long time. I have wanted to go to Bulgaria to explore its new wine scene as they have been getting positive reports of being incredibly overlooked and good value for money. As your misses is Bulgarian, does she know any specialisst shops in London?
