i, this post is to inform RB people in LA, SD and SF where we are from this coming Sunday the 5th until Wednesday the 15th. We hope to see as many of you locals around - especially in the evenings when we have settled in at our motel and are out and about to hit some brewpubs.
Sunday 5th: Motel 6, ANAHEIM STADIUM - ORANGE, 2920 W CHAPMAN AVE, ORANGE, CA 92868
Sunday night (we arrive at LAX at 17:00) but we hope a few of the brwpubs around the Motel 6 will be open
Monday 6th: Motel 6, CARLSBAD DOWNTOWN, 1006 CARLSBAD VILLAGE DR, CARLSBAD, CA 92008
Pizza Port and bottleshop visit is planned - nice dejavu from last year.
Tuesday 7th: Motel 6, SAN DIEGO DOWNTOWN, 1546 2ND AVE, SAN DIEGO, CA 92101
Brewpubs, Coronado, Yards for the night
of note: during our time in the SD area we plan to go to Alpine, Stone, Pizza Port and several other brewpubs.
We hope to be able to visit Lost Abbay, Green Flash, Ballast Point and Alesmith - we know not all of these places are open for the public on mondays and tuesdays - so anyone who could help us to be able visit these place during working hours one of these two days are most welcome to contact me. I’ve already beermailed a few people from last year - I hope that could open a few doors.
Wednesday 8th: Motel 6, SANTA BARBARA - BEACH, 443 CORONA DEL MAR, SANTA BARBARA, CA 93103
We will spend the evening visiting the local places and brewpubs, on the way up we will visit places mainly close to the coast.
Tursday 9th: long drive day for San Francisco and with several days at the Cathedral Hill Hotel. We hope to be in SF in due time to visit one or two places Thursday night.
We will follow the RBSG plans with bus, dinner, tasting and pubcrawls. Monday morning we may check out of the hotel and go to Sacramento and return to Oakland or Southbay Tuesday.
Papsoe and I have a flight back at Wednesday the 15th, Ungstrup will stay until the 19th and spend some time revisting places from when he lived in the Bay Area.

Not much time in LA, eh? Not that I’d necessarily blame ya, but if you decide to spend a day or two here, there are some great spots sprouting out of rubble lately. I’d be happy to meet up.
Otherwise, I’m sure I’ll see you guys in San Francisco.

I may see you at PP on Monday night. We are at Legoland in Carlsbad on Monday and Tuesday with the family. My son and law and I will go to PP for dinner and brews. Then of course I will be in SF on Friday and catch up with the group. Hope to see you again! I enjoyed meeting you guys last year at RBSG and am looking forward to meeting Henrik.
