Bobby, donít forget to remind people to mark the Paypal payment as "sending money to family or friends" or else I believe you will get hit with the Paypal merchant fee.

So youíve all waited long enough, and now that I have some quotes for busses (many thanks to John Calabrese, my arch nemesis in "waste management") Iíll officially start selling seats. Iím hesistant to put my paypal email here only because after things fill up people may send money without reading the updates first. So send me a BM telling me you want to pay for something listed here and Iíll send you the email adress.

Friday bus: $30 per person
*Saturday bus: $30 per person
**Grand Tasting: $15 per person (includes 1 glass)
extra glassware: $5 per glass

*if for some reason you want to be on the bus on Saturday but do NOT want to go to the grand tasting youíre on your own as far as getting back to the hotel. Or you can sit outside the grand tasting and wait for the rest of us.

**If I get people that dont want to be on the bus but want to bring 5 or 10 other people (non Ratebeerians) Iím going to hold off until I know that you guys have had a chance to sign up. Current attendenace cap is 100 but trying to get this moved up to 150.

Also, Iím officially scrapping the prepaying option for brewery stops. Pay as you go, bring some cash.

A couple of updates:
-Both buses are about 1/4 full as is the grand tasting (payment received).
-The grand tasting is still tentatively set with a cap of 100 people, so Iím reserving 60 of those seats for people on the Saturday bus.
-For those that talked to me ahead of time, I still have your seat(s) reserved but please send your payment soon.

Also, letís talk about pub crawling a bit. I was thinking that on Thursday weíd stay in the vicinity of LAX. Depending on how far anyone wants to go and what the transportation options are there could be quite a few stops (including 3 or 4 breweries). Weíd probably finish at the bar at the Four Points hotel.

Friday is still up in the air and open to suggestions. Might organize a small vanpool for Ratebeerians but Iíve also talked to some of the beer clubs in LA that have done pub crawls and at least one is interested in putting something bigger together. Open to ideas. This does not apply to the people on the Friday bus.

Woodshop will sell out within the next 24 hours, in all likelihood. Get it while you can.

After that, we will only be able to add extras on a case-by-case basis, if at all-- space-permitting. Iím doing everything possible to cater to the RBSG crowd, but at a certain point the available spots will be taken up by other people, as thereís just too much demand and a limited space.

Isnít it redundant to have dinner at Beachwood LB on Saturday if weíre going to be there all day on Sunday? Have we considered moving dinner on Saturday to another location in light of where Woodshop ended up being at? I love the food and personally have no problem with it, but for people out of town I donít know if it really makes sense anymore.
