In the next couple weeks, I’ll put some kind of a packet together including places to stay, places to rent a car and other information.
We’re going to try and get people into two hotels (one budget, the other a little more) which are right near each other. These are in downtown Orlando, so they are not close to the Disney area.
Because of the lack of mass transit in Orlando, and the fact that some people will be staying near Disney, the logistics of this whole thing are going to be different than other gatherings. It might not be totally ideal in some cases, but I’m sure we can work things out easily.
I will try to include as much information as possible in this packet and get it out soon. I think the only thing I will take money for will be transportation from Orlando to Tampa (Dunedin Brewing, Cigar City Brewing, Tampa Bay Brewing) for Friday, which will be in the $25 range for a charter bus.
I’ll start a new thread when I get this document ready.
For those of you still thinking about this one, we have confirmed that Friday March 12th will be the bottled release of Hunahpu’s Imperial Stout. Cigar City has committed to releasing the (currenty) #10 beer in the world on the day we will be visiting!
