Message Danko 12:05 Fri 4/10/2015 Years ago they started pasteurizing the bottles once it hit 3.5 pH to prevent it from going even lower during overseas shipping etc. It’s still an amazing beer in every aspect, but things have indeed changed and we’re talking at least a decade.

They also add sugar to back-sweeten it before pasteurization. I have immense respect for their brewing operations but just don’t like what they do with the beer when they package it.
