Stopped by the Bottleworks last night and came across the new Bulldob Ale. Not too sure whose recipe it is, or the specs. But it was a nice English style Strong Ale. Decent amount of alcohol. Good malt backbone and a dry and amply hopped finish.
I really like the fact that they are offering very limited brews. Just like any brewpub worth a tick should!
Go check it out.
Cheers

Joseph’s Bulldog Ale is an American Strong Ale brewed as a part of the new Brewer’s Choice series of beers at the Schlafly Bottleworks. It is the third in the series so far. Eric’s Hot Liquor Lager and Bill’s Little Yellow Pils were the first two releases.

Yep, Little Yellow Pils was a big winner for me. Hot Liquor lager was quite enjoyable too. Can’t wait to try the new one.
Any idea on the approximation of abv and IBUs on Bulldog?

Had the Bulldog Ale last night & agree that this is a heck of a beer. The description of the beer said it was 7% abv and 50 IBUs. The Brewer’s Choice series there has been really solid thus far.
