Shmaltz Comes To Philly!!

As part of Philly Beer Week, Shmaltz Brewing Company (HE’BREW Beer®, Coney Island Craft Lagers®) will unveil a once in a lifetime new limited-edition release, Jewbelation Quinceanera®: Jewbelation 15® (15 malts, 15 hops, 15% alc) aged for 5 months in Siembra Azul Tequila barrels. Siembra Azul is a small-batch, artisanally crafted, super premium tequila made from 100% of only the finest blue agave, grown and produced in the town of Aran-das, in the Highlands of Jalisco, Mexico. It is a kosher and double distilled spirit of unparalleled quality.

Join Shmaltz proprietor Jeremy Cowan for the World Premier of Jewbelation Quinceanera® at Tequilas (1602 Locust Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103, no cover, cash bar, 5 pm - 8 pm) on Thursday, June 7, 2012. Shmaltz will also have the recent World Beer Championship Gold and Silver Medal winning offerings: HE’BREW Genesis Dry Hopped Session Ale®, Bittersweet Lenny’s RIPA®, and Messiah Nut Brown Ale®. Custom food pairings of Tequilas’s singular modern Mexican cuisine will be available for purchase, and white silk Quinceanera dress attire is optional.

On Monday, June 4, 2012, HE’BREW Beer® will host a tap takeover at Lucky’s Last Chance (4421 Main Street, Manayunk, PA, 6 pm - 9 pm). The event will feature Hop Manna IPA®, Origin Pomegranate Strong Ale®, Genesis Dry Hopped Session Ale®, Bittersweet Lenny’s RIPA®, 2010 Rejewvenator® and Barrel Aged Funky Jewbelation®. Shmaltz Art Director Matt Polacheck and Morgan Fishback, Manager of the World’s Smallest Brewery (Coney Island Brewing Company), will be on hand for any questions regarding Shmaltz’s award-winning brews!
