Short trip to Buonconvento, Italy

So seems I’ll land Pisa late September 3, short sleep at an airport hotel, then head for Buonconvento by train early morning Sep 4.

Friday we’ll be at some beer fest called Villago della birra.

As for that Saturday, talk is going on about trying to make one or a few brewery visits "close" to Buonconvento.

Other than that perhaps Florence, 100 km-ish north, might be the best bet for it?

Anyone has experience from these parts of Italy, beer wise and brewery wise primarily?
