am a premium member and love this site. I was wondering why no advertising from breweries?
Im the typical liberal basically but I wouldnt mind seeing beer advertising if it made the people who operate the site more money to make more improvements.
I wouldnt even mind still paying my membership even with advertising, as long as it wasnt just over the top crazy.
I am probably very far out on the unpopular limb with this!
And lets be honest very few on this site would be overly influenced byy any brewery advert, though it might get the brewers name out there to the casual thru-visitor.

We don’t do it mostly because it’s a conflict of interest. We like to be as fair as we can be.
GABF takes money from brewers and it’s never been an issue.
It might make sense for some brewers to advertise here but not most.

I understand.
What if there was a special click-on area on the site with brewery beer announcements,coupons, offers etc?
You know its a great site, but talking for myself I think being kept abreast of say Stones latest offering wouldnt be a horrible thing.
Or you could go down the risky paper media thing like Beer Advocate..there is a LOT of advertising in that magazine.( which I like).
