Had all 3 (BA, reg, vanilla bean). Very nice. A lot of guest beers on the schedule, tapped every hour.

BA behemoth with cherries and BA Alpha Klaus were available too. Tried them.

It’s good this year, in my opinion, not stellar though.

Peaced out around 230.

Canadian BA breakfast stout at 4 pm was the only guest beer I missed and wanted to try. I was dead tired at that point though.

And the place was getting pretty full of randoms and bandwagoners by 1 or 2.

It was great. A lot of RB love. Your Kaggen, Daknole’s 110k + OT, Dalz’s Surly 2, and someone’s BA Double Cream/Expy rocked as well..

Had an amazing time...up until I went to pack up and discovred that someone walked off with my 8 bottle allotment of Dark Lord.

Before then, tried some amazing frickin’ beers - the vanilla bean in particular killed last year’s model. Plus the milk of human kindness poured upon me, and some generous folks - some of whom I had just met minutes before - hooked me up with a few bottles of DL to allay the pain.

Also, I’m now in possession of a purple vibrator (with teeth marks) found at some point in the festivities. So it wasn’t all traumatic. Plus I got to meet a be-kilted Scot whose Elvis Costello glasses and aura of awesomeness made the day all the more fun.

Was a bit insane...like the above people said, tried all three versions of DL, BA Behemoth with Cherries, Banana Split (bad-ass Bavarian Dunkelweizen brewed with banana and chocolate)and Popskull (meh).

A bit disappointed that I missed out on the Red-wine barrel aged Old Guardian and Firestone Abacus but we had to bounce out early.

All in all a good time and mad crazy!

I also thought the Vanilla killed it this year. My fave of the 3. Not a cloying mess. 4/25/2009 7:20:21 PM

Oh...also a bit bummed that I missed out on the Surly Tea-bagged Furious on cask. 4/25/2009 7:25:20 PM

In all seriousness, those two drops of Kaggen were amazing! Hope you enjoyed the Portsmouth Oatmeal stout!
