Message joet P admin beers 2900 º places 125 º 19:26 Thu 10/2/2014 He’s going to be distributing next month in bottles and this is very good stuff in my opinion. Definitely softer than a lot of Cantillon, more complex than something like the lacto-focused Cascade, and with more delicious brutality than Rare Barrel and with a lot of refinement, concept and yes, a touch of magic. He’s probably going to start very quiet, humble and with precious few bottles. Probably best to keep your beer hunting on the down low so that hype doesn’t wreck things for those who truly appreciate these wonderful beers by this truly gifted small brewer.
Message joet P admin beers 2900 º places 125 º 19:48 Thu 10/2/2014 He’s going to be putting out a saison and bretted IPA as well. I’ve tasted both. The saison was good. The bretted IPA was excellent. Probably the most excited I’ve been about a brewer launch north of the Golden Gate since Russian River.

Message joeneugs beers 6372 º places 240 º 16:04 Sat 3/7/2015 Just had the Funkatronic. Really amazing beer! On par with the hoppy/funky stuff from Prairie if not a bit better. Seek this one out at all costs.... I got it for $11 at Caps & Taps in Dublin.

Bokonon is damn good, but Funkatronic is amazing. I’ve offered them up in several trade offers over the last couple days but no bites...I guess the hype train hasn’t left the station yet. All the better for us.
