Boulevard Brewery’s seasonal Nutcracker is by far the worst beer I’ve ever tasted. It literally tastes like a pine tree.

Derweg’s rather generous rating of 2.3/5
Not bad aroma and colour, tropical fruits primarily pineapple. Sweet and candyish drink, very cloying. Some honest Lambic tartness underpins the sugary body preventing a total disaster, but this measure of good taste is not enough to merit consuming all these calories. Another badly misguided Franken-Lambic.

It was also lab-tested to be only 1.5 per cent ABV. They must have displaced the missing two per cent ABV with even more sugar...

Ever eat a pine tree? Many parts are edible.

I like to point out every week in the supermarket when we pass the beer aisle that the city of Milwaukee may want to pursue legal action for defamation against the makers of Milwaukee’s Best. Stick to making Sawzall’s. 5/7/2008 9:59:26 AM

I think Chapeau could have two beers on that list with their awful Xmas Gueuze.

Dumb comments a plenty attached to that article such as:

Mr Redner obviously has never tried Rausch Bier (or in English Smoked Beer). It is from Bamberg Germany. The nearest description is take a smoked hamhock and heat at 150 degrees in a keg of your least favorite lager for about a year.
