I’ll be starting the day early at 8 a.m. with Breakfast Stout.
We have a Thanksgiving tradition here of "beer and bacon" before the football games.

I’ve been drinking and rating Greene King stuff, Abbot Ale and Ruddle’s County Ale. Not bad at all, either of them, though a little too bitter for this low-hops woman.

No one in my family drinks craft beer, so I think I’m bringing Duvel to my mother’s house. (It’s the best segue to the beer world, as many have metioned) Unless others have any suggestions?

Not only is it Thanksgiving but one year wedding anniversary for me. I picked up a case of Anchor OSA 2007 and a case of Gibbons returnables today (sentimental beer, I heard the Lion is discontinuing it). I’m planning on doing at least one OSA vertical 2003 thru 2007. For our anniversary me and the missus are going Baltimore for a few days. I plan on local beer hunting while I’m there.

I’ve got some Cantillon 1900, Pumpking and some winter seasonals lined up to share with friends tomorrow night, but I keep thinking that altbier would be the best thing to pair with turkey, and I don’t have any.
