Since it might actually be cold outside on Thanksgiving, I’m going with Goose Island Bourbon County. 11/21/2007 10:43:34 PM

Started with a Lagunitas IPA, then a Dark Horse Special Black Bier (Porter), my what a chewy dark tasty porter, lots of sediment on the bottom of the bottle, then a Fuller’s London Porter, not quite as chewy or tasty as the DH Black Horse but with lots of roasted malt flavor. 11/21/2007 11:34:30 PM

I’m taking a fourpack of DFH Punkin to the folks house for me and a bottle of cider to share. I’m also bringing along a bottle of 120 min and WWS to sip in the event of a longer trip than expected. If it looks like the wife is settling in for a bit after dinner, I’m probably cracking open one or the other. I’m also bringing my own glassware since I’m in a non-drinking family (mostly).

Was considering taking an Ommegeddon, but I only got one left and haven’t rated it yet. Waiting for more funk to come into this bottle. I want to drink it bad though.

Good call. First real cold of the season here, so I think I too will have a quality imperial stout tonight. Which one is yet to be determined.

With the bird, though, I’m drinking Rodenbach Grand Cru.

cheers!

I got my linup set with Jolly Pumpkin Noel de Calabaza to for the first football game, followed up with some JP Fuego for the meal and a bottle of Raspberry Tart for dessert. If I’m still thirsty, there’s always the Jadwiga I brought with me. 11/22/2007 10:01:22 AM

Probably nothing but cheap "wine" arbor mist shocked.

But I’ll save the good stuff for Friday.
