Best person to ask is joris, however fruit lambics are not ment for aging, gueuze however most certainly is. What you’ll find with aging lambics is that they initially get soured but lose the acidity, then gradually lose the sourness till they are pritty much balanced. This is on a time scale of 20+ yrs + btw.

In saying that sometimes a kriek/kriekenlambic can be initially to sharp or a bit too sweet and a few years aging will do it no bother. Id say oud beersel(old oud beersel, from origional brewery not boon) and de cam are good examples of this. Where as boon and 3 F arnt so hot as they are hoppier.

hope thats of help!

IEBAILI 123:8 I don’t have much experience so thewse are all guesses, but here’s what I plan to age:
Angel’s Share
AleSmith Decadence
St. Bernardus Abt 12 Special Edition
Double Bastard
Vertical Epic 07.07.07

I also will continue to buy Vertical Epic 06.06.06 to hold whenever I see it. In my limited experience no other beer has improved so much with a year in the bottle.

Fullers Vintage 2007 is looking real good for standing a few in the cellar (I don’t actually lie them down.) 12/4/2007 7:34:02 PM

it is a special release #2 in the blackwater series.thumbs upcheers!

But this is the second time they have released it. The first time it was tap only. I think it is still up in the air as to the release schedule of this beauty.

Put an Old Boardhead down. I just drank a ’99 and I was blown away. There were nuances in that beer that I never experienced before. 12/4/2007 9:18:39 PM

I’ll second that. The ’99 that I had last year was nothing short of stunning.

The five I’m most excited to try a few years from now:

Nøgne Ø Dark Horizon
beer valley highway to ale
goose island BCS
Leinenkugels Big Eddy
St. Bernardus Christmas Ale

I’m putting down quite a few more than that though. I need to find a way to get more dark horizon as I’d like to have at least 6 floating around.
