Its done by regions and it loads pretty slow but its interesting. |
Interesting list. At least one of these places (OH) wasn’t on RB (I just fixed that). Some have only one or two ratings, so I guess wouldn’t make the RB list of top places. |
Originally posted by Travlr That place seems like a highly questionable choice. But hey, if they only stopped in a bar or two here, it’s what ends up on the list. |
Ya, read it with the usual expectation of yelling at it while reading, but was more or less pleasantly in agreeance with it. I like that they actually explained their choices and the article has an air of opinion moreso than "THIS IS THE BEST BAR IN THE STATE PERIOD. WE ARE GOD." |
Originally posted by phaleslusushi bar with 44 taps, all craft/no macros, good number of local beers, flights available, even a mead on tap. seems worthy to me. The one quibble I’d have is that since they’re a sushi place, why not offer some decent Japanese beers? But maybe that’s down to distro. In DC the sushi places have Coedo, Shiga Kogen, etc. |
True, and the fact that Sandusky has ANY worthy beer destination is noteworthy. |
ehh |
Wasn’t it widely concluded that most of the positive ratings of Mermaid Bar (FL) are fake? |
Also, I’ve been to 5 of them, though I haven’t been to most of those states! |
Originally posted by drowlandThat was the word on the street. But recent ratings are from non-locals with lots of other place ratings. I’ve never been, so I can’t confirm one way or the other. |
Only been to two. I was surprised they did not choose Falling Rock in CO. |
