What breweries would you join something like a "hoarder society," where you pay a significant amount of $ up front for some random garbage? Letís say the price per beer was inline with their regular prices.

For me, if the logistics of getting the beer to my place were not too annoying, i might consider joining hoarderís societies for:

upright brewing
russian river
hill farmstead
jolly pumpkin
cascade brewing
heater allen
jackís abbey
maine beer company

These are breweries where i tend to like (or at least want to try) most anything they make.

Russian River wins this thread. They could call it "We hate you pepsiedcan, donít bother signing up for this, we are just going to bottle piss" and Iíd still join in hopes that they were lying to me.

Maine BC was who I came in to say. I really enjoy what they have done so far. Russian River would be good but I think that would cost a fortune comparably. Troegs even would be cool to lock in getting all the scratch series as they come out.

Normally I would say none, but I did split a membership for Jackie Oís Staff bottles. I wouldnít have done it if it was just me.

Too much good local beer around for me to get nutty with overpriced shite.

Iíd definitely do one for Hill. I go up there 3-6 times a year as it is, and canít always make releases. It would be great to pay for stuff in advance and pick it up on a trip thatís more convenient to my schedule.

If they shipped to NY, Russian River, Cantillon, 3F would probably all get the nod as well, especially since with the NY crew we could certainly get enough people to split the memberships and make them worthwhile.
