A small gathering that became the largest single tasting of Tired Hands works included a number of area brewers.

I see Tired Hands as one of a handful of new conceptual brewers including but not limited to Stillwater and Hill Farmstead who are turning away from extremes and exploring nuance by enriching flavor via new ingredients, new flavor combinations, and new techniques -- and all with a very strong focus on quality.

It doesnít hurt that the Tired Hands house yeast is one very dear to my heart and one that brings me back to the best olfactory memories of my childhood, one thatís deepened my appreciation for beer, one Iíve enjoyed with the brewer, one that has tied me through affinity to other wonderful reviewers here and that has also been used by Shaun E Hill and B Strumke.

I had a great time. Itís a wonderful time for beer!
