Iíll be honest, I like ciders. They arenít my favorite, but they have their place and theyíre pretty good if you ask me. I donít understand the overall negative feel it seems people on this site have when it comes to ciders (i.e. Iíll be reading reviews on a cider and someone will start a review off with something like, "Pours a light amber with ABSOLUTELY NO HEAD THIS IS GARBAGE!!!!!!") Itís a cider bro, they donít have head know your brews.

Anyways, this is a rambling post and I apologize for that but Iím just sayin ciders have their place and arenít a bad thing. Ease up on em.

Living in the land of cider, Asturias NW Spain, i enjoy it quite a lot. Of course beer is first, but if you have access to a nice cider please enjoy it.

Living in another land of cider I too am a fan. Cider is what this country (US) was founded on!

True, most ciders donít have heads. That said, there are a lot of commonly available ciders that are crap (artificially sweetned stuff). I absolutely love ciders, but I will (and do) rip the ones that I donít care for (mostly backsweetend cloying stuff with artificial acids and sweeteners).

Good Norman ciders are the bomb, and only Ettiene dupont distributes to the us so we have no idea how good fresh french farmhouse cider really is

I am off to Somerset for this weekend for a short family holiday. Somerset is one of the best places in the world for Cider. I will be showing a lot of ciders a lot of respect.
