Can someone explain to me exactly how points are accrued to become Mayors? I’ve noticed a few times that a passing uber beer ticker passes through my local, visits barely a handful of times, then suddenly leapfrogs me with an insane beer count, despite me drinking in the place several days of the week all year round??!! |
I thought that ’Mayorships’ were calculated by the amount of available beers you attribute to a specific pub. I’ve got rather a lot of them, many for just adding one beer. |
If a place got a bottle selection of 100, make a new addition every day in 100 days, and you get 100 points. |
Originally posted by gunnar This. And by the way: when adding beers to a place, "tap" is the only option. (i mean entering the place´s and using the "add beer to place" option). If you want to add a bottle, the only way you can proceed is rate or re-rate the beer and then choose availability. Can this be fixed? i´m tired of seeing lots of "ghost taps", adedd in rows of 20-30 for many places... |
To add a bottle, simply click on + on the right hand side on the actual beer page, and add distribution info. |
How do you see a list of your mayor ships if you aren’t in the top? |
Go to your place ratings section, there you have 3 tabs |
Originally posted by gunnar Thanks. Did not know this. It´s not as simple as "add beer to this place" but it works fine. |
They also get removed after one year or so i was told. |
Originally posted by sloth Yup they do. I’ve lost all my non new York mayorships due to this. My kingdom has shrunk |
Originally posted by gunnar This doesn’t exactly work. My list of mayorships shows 41, but on the People tab, top mayors, it says I have 71. |
