Just received a Limited edition box of Westvleteren 12 |
He says it’s something you see more and more in gastronomie, it’s so you can share the bottle. |
Westie or St. Bernardus? |
The smaller goblets are very nice for a sharing situation. Plus they take up less shelf space. |
I have westy 12, but since the two are similar, at least according the the video anyways, I figured their glasses would be similar in size. Another question. I have a case of 3 month old westy 12 plus a so pack of the 3 year old special edition. They are both in the crawl space of my basement, which is dry with low humidity and ranges in temp from 68 degrees in mid summer to 60 degrees in mid winter. |
Serve it in a better glass that you can actually smell the beer out of, anyway. Those wide-mouthed glasses are fun to look at, but they suck for nosing a beer. |
You could chill to 55 degrees but don’t get it fridge cold. |
