Has anyone done this? Should it be a different category? Would it apply to dogfish head midas touch? It ought to.

On a side not I’d really love to see a clay pot aged IPA. Put it on a ship, sink it and send in the underwater archaeologists a century later.

Cantillon did the amphora deal. Not sure what is the status of this beer but there was a bit of a leakage issue.

Amphora lambic was gorgeous. Hope they end up bottling it.

Why not sell it in little tiny amphorae?

Just wait. I sense the next big gimmick in craft brewing on the way.

I prefer beers made with clay chips.

Like... broken up drywall?

The ancient Romans didn’t have drywall. I’m thinking, broken vases from some archaeological dig somewhere.

I’ve been on archaelogical sites in Peru where they are so plentiful you can pick up ancient pot shards on the ground
