Yikes, apparently I’m the top rater of beers with that tag!
Had one 2 days ago - it was like manure (malts were presumably dried over a fire which contained more than just peat...)

Sometimes in combination w/ flavors you don’t expect, the phenolic smoke character will start to come off in a banana/clove/hefeweizen kind of way. Interesting more so than good but still interesting.
