I’ve had a really tough time putting this tasting together. On one hand, I want everyone to get decent pours (by Danish ticker standards) and on the other, I want to make this a pretty big event so that more people can try some beers they probably won’t see again. So far, there are 9 people coming out of roughly 25 invited Quite a low turnout but that’s RateBeer in New England for you. I’m ISO actual beer raters who want to come up on July 25th. Camp out, visit some Vermont breweries (on their own) and drink some great beers. There’s room for camping on the 25th. You must find your own accommodations on the 24th. Here’s the bottle list so far: Magnums: Bzart Oude Gueuze (1.5L) Russian River Supplication (3L) Cantillon Gueuze (1.5L) Prairie Eliza5beth (3L, Batch 1/2013) 3 Fonteinen Oude Gueuze (1.5L, 2004) Jester King Equipoise (1.5 L) Hill Farmstead: Civil Disobedience 10 (1.5L) Bourbon Barrel Everett (1.5L) Art (1.5L) Ann (1.5L) Flora (1.5L) Arthur (1.5L) (2 Bottles, different batches, 3L total) Brother Soigne (1.5L) (2 Bottles, different batches, 3L total) Anna (1.5L) (2 Bottles, different batches, 3L total) Convivial Suarez (1.5L) (2 Bottles, different batches, 3L total) (still trying to lock down more of these) Standard Bottles Earth Eagle 32 oz. Growlers Casey Fruit Stand - Montmorency Casey Fruit Stand - Peach OEC - Experimentalis Bouquet Cigar City Forgotten Island 750 Cigar City Caffe Americano 750 Alesmith Brandy BA Old Numbskull Oceanside Ale Works Daliesque 2011 (750mL) Pour Decisions Salinity (750ml) I expect 2-3 more magnums and 5 more 750s will be added. It’s a lot of beer for 9 people. Everyone, as it stands will get 6 ounces per magnum and 3 ounces per 750. I’d like to add 2-3 more people to the event. Please be a RateBeer rater interested in great beers who are willing to also bring 1.5L bottles or special bottles to them to share. PM me directly to discuss feasibility of you joining in. If there are questions, please post them below.

Yep. Sort of an awkward time to lose my avatar. Not on topic for the thread though.

WTFuck is this all about? Where’s the thread on this topic? Do we need another AMA just to address this?

Thanks for the group invite. I’d love to come, but that weekend is looking bad unfortunately.

Would love to zip up there, but I’ll be in Fort Bragg that weekend. That’s a ton of magnums. Sadly, our tasting group leaves beer in 750s (12 oz bottles, too, sometimes if they’re developing world lagers). I hope all the awesome magnums get consumed.

Is this coming from AdamChandler or AdamJackson?

Does it matter? If you’re not interested or aren’t free that weekend to attend, it doesn’t matter.

would love to have you. I’ll do a similar tasting next year. I’m constantly buying Hill magnums and will just keep doing this as long as I can afford them to share.
as for drinking the whole bottle, I’ll keep opening bottles as long as each one is being consumed. no wasted beer this time.
