Hi all,

I’m going to Barcelona 15 till 19 September. Any suggestions on local pubs, breweries, etc.?

Anybody interested in an IP trade?

In addition to the interesting beer scene in Barcelona, it it well worth the scenic 45 minute train ride up the coast to visit Sven (a Belgian guy) here: http://www.ratebeer.com/p/the-drunk-monk-mataro-barcelona/7004/

Kaelderkold is right off La Ramblas is a cool spot. BierCab is everything you think it is. I liked La Resistencia too. La Cerveteca is one of the older beer spots. Good passion there, Cantillon too.

As of last week, Cervateca was all out of Cantillon, but had plenty of other awesome offerings. YMMV of course..

No doubt, you have to try Biercab, when Sven (ex-Drunk Monk owner) is working right now with the help of Manuel Baltasar (ex-Freiburg owner), Naparbier and Zombier

I thought sven was a partner but he was still in charge of The Drunk Monk.
There´s plenty of beer places in Barcelona. Just check the city list and enjoy!!

Hi,
next to biercab (& Biercab shop) you will also find garage (a new brewpub), brewdog bar, oma bistro and rosses i torrades (bottle shop with 3 taps). Also la resistencia and la mes petita are within walking distance. It’s a good zone for a pub crawl.
Depending on what you want to drink I could recommend you other bars.
