Whole vertical available to purchase from webshop, BEWARE, crazy money! |
That’s really obnoxious. Up until pretty recently, you could get most of the vintages, going back to the early 2000s, for quite reasonable prices (under 10 quid IIRC). These prices now are outrageous. |
Those prices should be per case, ridiculous. |
This can’t be real, surely? 1999 was like £10 2 months ago |
Simple, they won’t sell many! I bought a load of the excellent 1999 Vintage 5/6 years ago and it was about £4 per bottle. |
Thing is, I’ve had most of these and they don’t even get much better with age. They won’t sell a bottle over £20. |
Just spotted this and was about to post it but seems I was slow off the mark. All far to pricey for me. Even £6 for the latest vintage seems steep - can’t you usually get it in some supermarkets for about £4? Presume the prices are cashing in on the demand for certain overpriced "craft" beers. |
I’ve just checked my email archive, I bought 36 bottles of assorted Vintages for a mere £67 in 2011. |
We pay around $10 here. The 2014 was ok but not as good as the 2013. I quit trying to find the older ones. |
I can attest that the 1999 and 2001 have gone downhill badly over the past few years. Even the 2004 has lost some luster... then again a fool and their money will soon be parted |
They can fuck off |
