Which world class beer do you think is underrated on RateBeer?

I’d add Tripel Karmaliet, Westvleteren Blonde, De Ranke XX Bitter We know why the great British beers don’t really register because of the issues with cask condition, and I haven’t included lambics because I think for some they are an acquired taste. Also many of the great German lagers just don’t taste so great in bottles compared to fresh. I do wish some of these pale beers would get the credit they deserve on Ratebeer.

I rated Karmeliet higher than you. I went back to my De Ranke rating and it is complete garbage so I need to try that again. In any event, when a beer is in the 99th percentile, there is not much more space to move. when a beer is in the 99th percentile and has 3,000 ratings, its place as one of the best beers in the world is solid. When it comes to credit, do you perhaps mean you wish these beers were discussed more often? They are too old and too easily available. A few that I would add are: Traquair Jacobite; Everything from Achel, especially the extra; Gouden Carolous Noel and Kaiser-blue Everything from Fantome. Every well made Czech pils, including Urquell. I could go on.
