lright this is straight from Ken Grossman

Ethan,

Thanks for inquiring about the confusion surrounding "Torpedo".

The original batch of Torpedo was a similar recipe to our traditional Celebration Ale. We were experimenting with a different method of dry hopping and wanted to run a trial batch a little later in the season.
The Torpedo beer we have produced since, is a completely different recipe and hop mix. Some people are referring to it as "Torpedo Squared", but we are only producing one type of "Torpedo" beer. We still use whole cone hops in all our beers, and dry hop with the same. The "Torpedo" is like a closed external hopback that we circulate the beer through during the fermenting and aging process.

I hope that clears up your questions!

Thank You,
Ken Grossman

So that settles it, new listing

So how do we actually go about amending the current entry? Do we just make a new one or what? Admins? 5/10/2008 1:07:29 PM

Josh is working on it, so give him a day or two to get it worked out.

Wow I am so excited I actually came across something that was odd and actually caused some change. Makes one feel good when it looked like we could have a new beer listed like this beer. I know when I started this it was only a hop diference but now with the other grain build differences this was a small victory for me.
Wooo Hooooooo Ok I know it is Early Monday but hey I needed a small victory I am still feeling poorly from Fred Fest.

Back t bed I am going to go. excited

I talked to a different Ken Grossman (that happens to be in used car sales) that assures me you’re all wrong. 5/12/2008 10:00:55 AM

One more tiny thing, the ABV of the new Torpedo is 7.5 instead of 6.8. Not that big of a deal I suppose but something that could be changed. 5/12/2008 1:00:53 PM
