The poor system performance and the excessive DB deadlock error messages are going to kill a lot more than the the trade forum. But the fix may be deeper than a hardware upgrade. I’m no expert on SQL Server, but I should not get deadlock errors on a page where I’m just reading data. Because if I were to add that feature I would code it more efficiently. It’s not a matter of adding a new feature, it’s a matter of adding a new feature the right way. Things are being worked on. Posting the same link and trumpeting the same wanted features every three days doesn’t make them appear any faster. There’s a lot of things being worked on right now and a lot of things on the to-do list, just need to be a little patient. When volunteering feels like work it makes me want to do less of it, so I work on the site when I feel inspired, not when I feel like I have to get something done (that’s what my 9-5 is for), plus I have a life outside of computers too	5/5/2008 11:30:31 AM Private message

I guess I just didn’t know if others thought they weren’t good ideas and features, or if it was a priority/time issue with him not having the authority to make the changes himself.
