And you know what’s really funny? Big mouths like you call me a "dictator" in one breath and try to loudly force your opinions on the rest of the community in another.
Do you seriously think that any decisions here are made single-handedly? You really are a biased, deluded ass if so.
And what about the "ham handed attempt" to create a Bad Trader system? Should we have personally consulted you before implementing that as well? Or maybe taken a vote?
Man, you and one or two others around here are the cooks in the kitchen that single-handedly make "too many."

I’m not trying to force anything, but I would like to see an actual vote. Are you afraid your idea will be exposed as highly unpopular? I personally don’t care if it stays like this if the majority think it is the best way to go. Sorry, but I don’t take your opinion as gospel as you seem to think we all should.
And I hope you do think I’m an ass because the feeling is mutual. The professionalism you show as an "administrator" is always top notch.

I have already said how I feel, but I do think a vote is the best way to determine how it should be decided.
I mean, most of us doing the trading are premium members, so I believe our voices should be heard considering we are paying to use RB.

It helps quite a bit. When trade requests were on the main page, there were many cases of thread jacking because people would start discussing the beer without realizing they were replying to a trade post. Now you know when you are replying to a trade post. Sure it cuts down on the volume of traffic because only people interested in trading come to the trade forums. If you want a lot of traffic, move from your quiet residential area to a house on a busy highway. You’ll get the traffic, but it won’t be people coming to see you or your neighbors.
That’s a whole other issue. I’ll click on a RateBeer link and then go sure another website in another window while waiting on RateBeer to load.
There are more kids in grade school than graduate school. In general the traders on BA are earlier in their beer geekdom. RateBeer is the next progression with more sought after beers. The "FT: Westy" does not get much action here because a lot of the active traders have one or at least have already had one.
Traders will go to the website with the best features. Traders will go to the website with the most traders. eBay won the online auctions by being the biggest the fastest. Sellers go where the buyers are, and buyers go where there is a lot of choice and competition. The same may very well happen with beer trading.
Start one up.

You seem to think that if you can’t get your way, that belligerence, whining, yelling and stomping your feet will get it done. Well it doesn’t. It only endears you to yourself.
I listen to everything said here - some people are polite and constructive and somple people ain’t. You’re one of the latter.
You think the site "owes" you. Well, I’ve got news for you - there’s allot of things that get done here...and people who think their opinion is right (read: like you), and are willing to stomp their feet until it gets done, make things even harder to accomplish.
As I mentioned earlier, you think something should be a certain way, so it must be right. You’re exactly what you claim I am.
And as for a vote, it’s being discussed.
