hat value does everyone put on their own homebrew? I’m considering putting up some trade posts (of comercially released beers) ISO various homebrews. Any thoughts from the homebrewers out there?hmmm...

It matters how good they are. I’d probably trade bottle for bottle for some good homebrew. Luckily, Springslicker threw one in for free. I’d build up some cred before asking too much for your beers. That being said, it would have to be an amazing bottle to pry one of my homebrewed Berliner Weisse’s away from me. 6/23/2009 11:49:14 PM

It sounds to me like he’s asking for homebrew and offering commercial beer, but wishes to figure out how traders determine the trade equal.

Yep, I’d be looking for homebrew (and trading some TBD brews from my cellar).

I haven’t done any trades yet (I’ll be doing my first one soon, probably in a week or two once I have enough good stuff to offer.) but I fully plan on bonusing some of my homebrews because while I may like them and my friends may like them I’m not sure how reliable that opinion is. But a bonus is just that a bonus. Some guys here I would trade good beer for their homebrews. Dickinsonbeer in particular has some fucking amazing mad skills at brewing not to mention he’s just an awesome guy. 6/24/2009 2:50:33 AM

I recently spent the cash and sent 2 homebrews to Erway for an evaluation. He liked one but hated the other. Guess I’ll keep on practicing.cheers! 6/26/2009 7:29:56 AM
