List is surprising too: Arbor Black Isle Pilot Elixir I think low number of beers worked in their favour here. If I answered off the top of my head I’d have said Buxton, Brewdog, Siren, Beavertown.

But i think even great brewers produce beers we dont always like, so the fact they have a lower average doesnt make them any less great.

Siren 4. Harviestoun 5. Tempest 6. Orkney 7. Grain 8. Hardknott 9. Kernel 10. Arbor Personally, I’d say Buxton or Beavertown deserve ’best of the year’ title over any of the above.

Message teorn88 beers 7739 º places 109 º 07:55 Tue 12/23/2014 My top 5 for the UK in 2014 is a bit of a surprise to me, but here it goes: 1) Burning Sky 3.83 2) Beavertown 3.81 3) Harbour 3.8 4) Summer Wine 3.8 5) Siren 3.78 Honorable mentions also for Magic Rock, Hardknott, Harviestoun, Brew by Numbers, Pressure Drop, Buxton. All making the top 25 list for the year. I would also mention Partizan as they’ve been experimenting more recently, Four Pure as they are stepping up their game with consistently very good and new beers every time I visit, and Weird Beard who I would personaly put in or close to the top 5 for 2014.
