Agreed. For the most part, Brooklyn sucks. They have a few nice beers (who doesn’t?) but their regular line up and at least half of their special releases are a drag.

Yeah, everything I’ve ever had from Stoudts is top notch.

I think a lot of breweries from the first or second wave of craft brewing get pushed aside. And I second the comment about Europe as well.

Don’t know how far I agree regarding price, but it is a fucking fantastic IIPA

I have to go local, or at least semi-local

Great Lakes- All their beers are well balanced even if they produce few really spectacular beers.
Troeg’s- Nice variety and everything is pretty damn solid.
Hoppin’ Frog- A few are pricey but they are well made and very tasty (BA Boris was just released again).
Stoudt’s,- Nice belgian style beers with a decent distribution.
