that’s the funny part... out of living together for four years and cooking hundreds of brats, she has never made such a mistake. I have 3 fridges full of beer and she went to the cellar to get one for cooking... go figure

maybe she did know... maybe she logged into ratebeer and tried to find a beer I had in my cellar in the 100th percentile... and opened it and cooked with it on purpose to get back at me for something! oh man that’s viscous

I think the answer is to make sure your woman knows enough about beer not to do that kind of shit. My wife gets a taste of every beer I drink (at home) and we have a little conversation about it. She knows what’s what and wouldn’t dream of using rare beer in her cooking. She also has a good, if untrained, palate, so makes good points about the beers. Gotta get your womens into the tasting!

As an aside, in Japan, the majority of craft beer fans are women. Very different from the rest of the world. Men here usually drink cheap piss. Chicks go out with their friends and try the designer beers with their fancy meals.
