From Facebook: 3 Goose Island Beer Co. Vanilla Rye bottles need a good home. Come in today, buy a beer flight of Goose Island Lolita, Bourbon County Stout, Barleywine, and Vanilla Rye and enter yourself in the raffle to take one of these bad boys home.

Looks like flights of Lolita, BCS, BCS barleywine and BCS vanilla.

50/50 right now. I’m not going unless I can get there right around 4...not a fan of lines.

No terribly busy, but the Vanilla went quick(about 45 minutes).

If you purchased a $20 Flight (5 ounce pours) of the following beers, you were put into a drawing for a bottle of Vanilla.
-BCS Vanilla
-Standard BCS
-BC Barleywine
-Lolita

Although 20 ounces of all that strong beer sounded awesome, I ended up just getting a 10 ounce pour of the Vanilla.

This was not as crazy as I expected. BVery and I got a flight and then a 10 ounce of vanilla without a problem. No lines and not a cluster of people crowded around the bar. Easily ordered from our table with the server, who was totally awesome. BA Silhouette then followed vanilla and was also very good. A few others joined at 6ish with regular and barley wine still on tap. Sitting comfortably drinking all the BCS we wanted for the evening was just fantastic.

Also, got a chance to talk to the beer lady who was organizing the events and it sounds like plenty more special releases to come. We all had a great experience and look forward to going back!
