HotD of course. What is it trading for nowadays? is any FT or is it NFT? I know some people at the recent RBSG split a bottle for $2,000. I recently saw a FT thread that had about $3,000-$4,000 worth of beer on the secondary market posted. Is HotD Dave trading on that level or is it higher? |
Who? Dave? Dave’s not here, man. |
There can’t be more than like 10-20 bottles in private existence....I’d imagine. I bet alot of them are just centerpieces in private collections and not anything the owners are looking to trade. If something can get it done though...KBBS |
KBBS is around $1000, it would be a good start. One off Cantillon would for sure get you started. Pappy van winkle and other bourbons, maybe some old estate sale nonsense. |
Some people have what it takes to get Dave, some people only have what it takes to get cake. |

Originally posted by nimbleprop No. There is one listed on MBC at that price collecting dust. I never paid for but wouldn’t haven’t spent even $250 on it. There are much better beers out there that are cheaper to get. |

It really doesn’t carry the same trade weight it once did IMO. Still a $$$$ whale, but it’s only really sought out by old schoolers at this point. For that price tag (unless you’re silly rich), who wants a small bottle of oxidized barleywine when you could get a larger bottle of much better beer (including world-class geuze), or a beercation at that price? |
Originally posted by biggsbowler Lol, check your facts before you post. KBBS sold for $1,000 on June 26th and again for $875 this past Friday |
what is KBBS? |
