Lunchtime so with my lightly seared ahi tuna (Odeed’s rub seasoning) sandwich on our local Pyrenees sourdough with horseradish sauce, a glass of Kern River Class V Stout from the growlers I procured last night! |
Originally posted by pinkie A good go-to beer, though I found it a bit overrated. Look for HopSlam if you can - I’ve only been able to get it once, and that lived up closer to the hype. Enjoying Deschutes Jubelale right now. Great winter brew. |
Originally posted by kdm1984 I also thought it was a bit over rated. In fact you and I were only tenths .2 different in our ranking. I am hoping to get all the offerings at the store now, their pale ale, porter and brown ale. If wegmans gets the hopslam that would be SO nice. |

I’m working on emptying my cellar before moving to the NL. Cleaned off a bomber of Alaskan Barleywine with dinner and am now sipping happily at a bottle of Pannepot Reserva (Hadn’t had it for years, and it’s just as magnificent). |
A champagne-fermented cider from Bantam, Wunderkind. |

Boulevard Reverb Pilsner. Popcorn beer. Amazing impy pils - can hardly tell it’s an impy it’s so smooth. Impy pils can get overly sweet easy, but not this one. |
