Sine iteration six was frozen after 32 pages, I start anew!
Tonight I am drinking a four year old Stone 12th Bitter Chocolate Oatmeal Stout, one of my favorite Stone Anniversary brews.

Actually enjoying the New Belgium/Apline DIPA collaboration quite well. Had low expectations, but am digging it pretty well along with opening night for the NFL.

I passed up the Tart of Darkness at the store I was at earlier since it was a pretty high price point here in DC. I really wanted to try it, but just a bit out of my prince range. How is it drinking? (aside from pretty nice, a really must try?)

Curious about how it is too. I am tempted to buy it, but damn, it is expensive!

Hmmm... not sure it’s worth the $20 I paid for it. Maybe. There are probably a lot of other beers I would have enjoyed more for the price, but it wasn’t bad.

It was very strong sour without much roast until the finish. Acetic vinegar notes were present but didn’t overpower. It’s a solid effort.
