The best way to offend John White would be to offer to buy him a pint of Fosterswink 2/26/2005 3:58:01 PM

witbier 0:0 What exactly are these lingerie waitresses that I unfortunately missed at Paddy’s; I’ve added them to my Sydney Web page,http://www.whitebeertravels.com/sydney.html#paddys , without really knowing what they are?

Regards and Cheers!

eczematic 1198:2 yes john, you missed out on the full paddy’s experience - check out this thread here at the aussie homebrewer site:
http://www.aussiehomebrewer.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=3959 &st=0&p=42436&#entry42436

gerard wisely chooses a beer in front of the cricket ahead of some of the more depraved diversions surrounding him ...! i think the market workers there make things interesting.
all adds up to a unique place to have a brewpub. i was there last night with ratebeerers motelpogo and filthmuppet and betty and the beers were excellent, thankfully free of artificial additive distractions!

FYI the macquarie hotel (for which gerard is also the brewer) is cracking open their first kegs this tuesday night. i think there’s a wheat, a pils, a pale ale and a schwarzbier apparently based on the recipe for the U Fleku cerny, so that will be good to have close to town.
cheers

witbier 0:0 Many thanks for this info. I have mentioned when the attractions in Paddy’s can be seen, by following the threads on the AussieHomeBrewer.com site, which clearly is a vey useful site for up to date info on Aussie pubs and breweries; I have added a link to it on my Sydney page, and one to the Macquarie Hotel.

I will most gratefully receive other new info relevant to my Sydney page, as I intend to keep it up to date, as much as possible. I may not always be looking at this forum, so info by e-mail would be great: john @ whitebeertravels.com (without the spaces around "@").

Regards and Cheers!
