4.6 back in 03. Was an impressive drank at the time. Would still drop a 3.8 - 4.0 on it right now. I’ve enjoyed the couple sixers i have had in the last few months love that chewy body. Also noticed that the price has gone up about a buck since i last purchased a 6 of it a few weeks back. Still a solid deal.

Me. It’s a great struggle beer. I drink well when I can but sometimes my horse don’t come in. Good for the money. Prove me wrong.

Just saw it was my highest rated in my first 50 rates, at 4.2

Had one a couple months back, still a solid beer. Maybe a 10% lower score today, based on my evolving taste and the depth of available options.

Rated it a 4 back in ’08, my first year rating.

Havent had one in a few years. Bought a can today because of this thread. We’ll see what happens.

The new cans and packaging seems to be reviving this one in my area. Bomber sales have been dropping for a few years now, and that hurts a brand like AB that needs to sell within 90 days, even at relatively cheap prices. I gave this one a 4.3 when I first had it, and I also at the time was enamored with barleywines. It’s not a bad beer but certainly not a frequent choice. Seasonally, I’d probably enjoy it most in the fall. I may be one of the few here who did like Levitation a lot, and I always thought if they rebranded it as "Lil Bastard," since it drinks like a light AB, it could have saved that beer from the chopping block.
