Wait till Coors instructs stores always to always keep their product in the back row and only in the back row so that it would taste coldest.

I’ve worked beer retail for several years now and I constantly see customers do this:
1) Take out six pack from cooler
2) Grab six pack behind it
3) Replace first six pack
Why?
Most are average, non-beer savvy customers... I don’t think they’re worried about the beer being light-struck, but it’s a possibility... so what?
Do they think it’s colder?
Do they think it’s fresher?
I would ask, but I don’t want to be a dick. Not that I’d be a dick to ask, but I fear that they’d give me their response and I would feel obligated to tell them they’re wrong.
What do we think?
It’s the same thing with milk bro. Try not to be so arrogant though. it’s not like their wrong. I try and look for a bottled dated whenever i buy and ipa to see if it’s fresher.

If it’s an open cooler, obviously take it from the back if you want something colder. It’s a bigger issue with milk as the ones nearest the outside could have been warm for a long period.

As a customer, after I pick something out I actually have a habit of moving more of that item forward so the employee doesn’t have to. Hell, I’m already standing there and I don’t mind.

I had to unlearn this habit after years of watching my mom grab crates of eggs and milk, unshelving them and grabbing the rear ones and then reshelving all of the ones now scattered on the floor. "Just getting the one with the later expiration date" O_o
