Haha well it all started after we’d had a couple of beers...
I definitely hear everyone on the White Elephant exchange gift that no one wants to take home.
Thank you all for the honest feedback. I see where we’d need to change the idea. Variety + Choice = Awesome.
Does anyone buy beers online (Craft Beer Kings, Craft City, Craft Shack, etc.) or does everyone just check out new brews at the local beer market?
I bought stuff from some online places a few years back but nowadays I can even walk in a grocery store and usually find something new I havent had before, if I walk into good beer store I can find many new beers even if i just look at local stuff.
If you can find a way to get limited release stuff from all over on one site, I am sure you could sell them for a premium.

I do not pay close attention, but would b curious to see how many new years I try per week, month or year. I know rating them here would do just that, but it would interfere with my laziness and inability to constantly think of words to use for descriptions.

Price-wise, I think $20 is a pretty fair price for 6 different beers arriving in the mail. I personally would not be interested.

Whoa whoa WHOA Six new beers a month is a little excessive. I think one new beer every six months is the way to go-- more time to get to know these new beers, savour them, really make a connection

I like what you guys were all sharing on this. Thanks again for all the feedback and thoughts everyone put out there. Just a short update - based on all the feedback, I put together a small landing page on the web and used AdWords to put some eyeballs on the page. Got about 60 views and four people even signed up! Crazy stuff. I’ll let you guys know if it gets as far as actually shipping any product. In the meantime I’m onto looking into a liquor license :-)
